Take In Some Local Golf

Whether you just want a relaxing, scenic place to hit a round or take on a world class design, there are quite a few courses nearby that cater to all ability levels and interests.  And the best part is....you're not paying POA or Membership fee's to enjoy it.  With the great restaurants, bars and wineries nearby, you can make it a fun, full day outing before retreating back to the quiet of The Estates on the River.

The Lighthouse Country Club -  With a redesign in 2006, this is a fun-well run course with definite Hill Country signature.  Stop at Kingsland Coffee Company to wake up on your way to the course.  With a full restaurant and bar, you may want to hang out at the club after your round, otherwise stop at Grand Central Cafe' on your way back to The Estates on The River.

The Legends Golf Course -  Just down the road from The Estates on the River is this Tom Kite designed course that is fun and very scenic as it runs along the Colorado River.  Stop by Hoovers Valley Cafe afterward for lunch.  Then go across the street to see our friends at Perissos Vineyard.

The Llano River Golf Club - This is a relaxing way to golf and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Texas Hill Country.  With world famous BBQ nearby, along with great shops and restaurants on the town square, you have plenty of options to make a day of it.

Delaware Spring Golf Course - Just a short and very scenic drive along Park Road 4 gets you to a nice place to play golf.  When you're done, take a left on HWY 281 and hit the amaxing Maxican Restaurant or take a right and enjoy all the great restaurants in Marble Falls.

Hidden Falls Golf Club - This well established golf course in Marble Falls offers a variety of play and 4 sets of tees to accommodate a wide range of abilities.   It sits just off of downtown Marble Falls, so you'll have plenty of places to talk about the round when you're done.

Horseshoe Bay Gold Resort - A few minutes more down the road and you can take on one of the Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed courses while enjoying a great Lake LBJ setting.  Take advantage of the relaxing setting after your round, or enjoy some of the many local places on your way back to The Estates on the River.  It's a tough choice, but a good one to have.
